100 Women Who Care meeting set
The next meeting for the 100 Women Who Care in North Hawaii will at 2 p.m. April 27 at the Paniolo Restaurant in Waimea.
This group meets quarterly and supports local charities that are presented by its members. There are three presenters at each meeting and the group votes for the charity of choice. Come and meet the members and think about joining this community based group.

Join Hokuloa UCC for Easter Sunday
Because of the increasing number of guests that attend, Hokuloa Church, United Church of Christ has decided to gather everyone on its church lawn for worship on Easter Sunday.
Special music, living cross and Easter egg hunt will be a part of the festivities that begin at 9 a.m. at Hokuloa Church, United Church of Christ, 69-1600 Puako Beach Dr. in Puako.

Waimea walk to tour improvement needs
Waimea Regional Safety Study’s Waimea Walk Audit. Join for a walk in town to explore short-term improvements for safety and mobility in the community on Monday, April 22.
More walk runs from 10 a.m. to noon, with a lunch presentation from 12:30-1:30 p.m. The afternoon session will be 2-4 p.m., covering the same topics as the morning one. Symphony moves to Kohala for final performance
Come and be bathed in the frequency of love and the sounds of harp and crystal bowls 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Kohala Village Hub. The 90-minute, sound healing experience is a unique harp and crystal alchemy bowl concert performed by Cheryl Angela and Alysa Rushton.
Alysa Rushton, of Kamuela, says the concert “will bathe your mind, body and soul in the love frequency of 528 hz and bring you into a deep, meditative experience.”
The 528hz love frequency is known to invoke a sense of healing, connection and beautiful experiences of the heart according to Rushton.
Cheryl Angela, of San Diego, is a world-renowned visionary, harpist/vocalist, and vibrational transformation practitioner. Alysa Rushton, is a global consciousness thought leader, author and vibrational sound therapist.
Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes, bring a yoga mat or blanket, and a willingness to let go of anything in their life that has been bogging them down so it can be released and they can be transformed.
Presented by The Kohala Hub and True Path Inc., concert proceeds benefit three local non-profits: HOPE Services Hawaii, Feed Hawaii and The Food Basket. The duo recently performed the musical symphony in Hilo.
